Breitling also said that they do not set diamonds in any material other than white/yellow gold and platinum. They apparently don't set high end diamonds in steel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe on the Breitling website they show some models with a Stainless bezel with diamonds set in them. I can't remember on what models though. maybe the Chronomat, but I'm pretty sure that I've seen that.

I think he's referring to more exstensive "diamonding-ing" (if you will), such as that found on some B4B models as opposed to "just" a diamond bezel.

DiamondWorks models are only precious metals, regular diamond bezels are available in steel.

This thing is just hideous.

The diamonds are highly polished, using this high-tech process:

Breitling however said that since it had been so heavily modified they class it now as a ------- cant remember the term but basically a non Breitling watch and therefore they will not touch it. They will not service it or anything.

Oh wow, that's rich.

You can get a stainless steel bezel with diamonds in it from Breitling.
