I received my B-1 last Tuesday, but due to being away, I only got to open the package last night. Beautiful. I love it. I was VERY tired from a big day so put it away.

Finally got to play with late this afternoon. Couldn't get the crown too work. Hmmm broken? Nope just a very strange design (to me anyway).

As the watch was NOS from an AD from overseas, couldn't verify it's finish. It has very fine scratches on the crystal. The Breitling symbol on the case back (centre of fan) is almost worn away??

Biggest thing though is either the black dial or the inner AR coating has a smudge on it. It seems the dial, but is ONLY noticed depending on the angle of viewing. Also the gold writing on the top of the bakelite box is worn, would they replace the box?

As it has a new 2 year warranty would Breitling Australia fix it?

I will post pictures shortly. Thanks again for ALL your help and effort in finding me my FIRST ling.

A huge thanks to you all.

Rob

Difficult to comment specifically without seeing it, but the warranty is global so if the watch doesn't meet the standard then any AD should accept it for repair / repalcement.

A NOS B1 should be new! It should NOT have light scratches, blemishes on the dial or AR coating, and certainly shouldn't have a worn out Breitling logo on the caseback!

Post photos when you can but something doesn't sound right.

G'Day Crew,

Here are some pictures of the case back, as well as "unboxing".

I dont know if I am being too pedantic, expecting too much from a piece that is no longer in production. I am very happy with the price I paid and the level of service I received from the AD. Just a little disappointed with the little things..............

I absolutely love the watch, can't stop looking at it or playing with the functions, fits perfectly and looks stunning.

Regards,

Rob

What I find strange, is that they claim the watch is NOS, but they have given you the newest model of box that Breitling has. That box has only been available for less than a year or so.
