Well to me anyway

First up an itch I have had for ages

And something a little older but gives me the date option

I prefer the Tudor Snowflake subby to the Rolex subby and they are nearly the same price nowadays

Hope you like them

Mart

The Daytona's a classic!

Sub over a Tudor for me but enjoy it!

The Daytona is a handsome watch in my opinion.

Both look good to me, if I had the choice I would probably go for the Rolex! Great looking watches though. :D

Congratulations Taffy!

I can completely understand you on the Daytona itch as I've been there myself. How do you feel now when you've scratched it?

I wore it all day yesterday at a wedding and could not stop looking at it  It did not raise up to my bone once (the first watch even not too 8) )

I am sooooo glad I traded my AP for this watch :cheer:

I can understand you asking that, Aleister, as I've heard that some people tend to have to wait so long for a Daytona that when they finally get one they wonder what the fuss was about.

But it sounds like Taffy's completely smitten with it, which is a great thing! Nice going Taffy, and congrats!

Another full day and still find myself looking down at it  Wears comfortable as a comfortable thing

Excellent Taffy! It sounds you did the right deal. :)

Driver, that was exactly the case for me. When I finally got it, it (or I?) had lost "it" and it quickly went to another owner.

I was the same with my Submariner LV. I wanted one for literally years, and then when I finally picked one up, I quickly fell out of love with it.

But it certainly sounds like the Daytona is going to work out just fine for Taffy, which is great news mate!
