You ever buy something and think, "this was totally worth it!"? Thats how this is. The black bezel seems to make it wear a bit larger than I expected, which is a very good thing. Details and finish are typical Breitling. Notice how the tip of the second hand matches the chapter ring? Rubber bezel is great, and the lume...lets just say about a million times better than what us B guys are used to. My one reservation was that there was no circle or arrow at the at 60 on the bezel. My fear was that this would lead to countless parking tickets, thereby raising the ownership cost of this piece  . Not so! The middle of the 6 and 0 in the 60 lines up perfectly at center, so that is essentially the arrow mark. Not ideal, but certainly more convenient than I had expected. Meter maids and t-Bone steaks beware: Im still on my game!

Definitely. The cheapskate in me was overpowered. I had forgotten how nice the clasp was. I sold my last ocean racer like 24 hours after I got it (the cheapskate won that time).

Wow! Very cool looking watch. I wasn't sure about this one for a while, but I'm really starting to like it. Especially the yellow rehaut! :lingsrock:

Congrats!

Nice one RJ! I still really need to see one of these in person, but it seems to fit you very well.

Congrats on this awesome new purchase!!!!!

It looks super nice on and I think a 42mm is a great size. The font looks really nice too. It kinda reminds me of an automotive (Nascar) type font. Its definitely a cool look and the rubber bezel is a nice touch too. I didn't realise it was rubber. Are the numbers in stainless steel?
Nothing better than that xmas day feeling :D

The numbers on the bezel are brushed steel, and the numbers on the dial appear to be steel, but beadblasted or something.

Congrats on the acquisition RJX3. Really good looking watch!

I've really been impressed with the lume on these new Breitlings. Looks like a sea change in how lume is done. Very even, strong, and bright.
