I like it! Thanks for sharing.

My take on the dial pattern is that it looks like a spinning propeller-- keeping with the aviation theme.

Peace

Mike

Son, I live in a world that has color, and that color has to be worn by men with guts. Whose gonna do it? You, H2F? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for convention, and you curse froo-froo. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That convention’s death, while uncomfortable, probably saved Xezo. And this watch’s existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves Xezo. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want that watch on my wrist, you need that watch on my wrist. I use words like humor, color, livid. I use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the spectrum of the very rainbow that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you put on a Steinhart, and stand in the shadows. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think I should wear.

OMG Sharkman! My posts were in jest (hence the many humorous smilies used)... But obviously I touched a raw nerve, for which I apologize. We are complete strangers and I thought it a given that there wouldn't be a single reason why you would care what I think; nor I you. I shall strive to remember to tread very carefully around your posts from now on...

Oh my God, where is the smiley banging his head against a wall? I need you now, frustrated smiley . . . but you have forsaken me.

I'm gonna start a punk band and name it "Internet Sarcasm" . . . we'll scream at the mics and no one will be able to understand us in the slightest, but we'll sell billions of records. Forget gold or platinum, we'll go unobtanium.

Peace

Mike

 H2F's not a fan of "A Few Good Men" then I guess!

Amusing bastardisation of a classic Jack Nicholson (Or should that be Col. Nathan Jessup) quote there Sharkman!

Yes, yes, the joke's on me... :footinmouth:

That's the problem with non face-to-face dialog I guess, especially when you throw in different cultures... (never did see that movie :?: ). Sharkman was kind enough to explain; just next time, please, USE THE SMILIES!!! :guns: :guns:

So glad we can all be buddies again!

(Btw, still think the Xezo's a bit... :cheer:... :nana: )

LOL.. I was reading the reply last night and was thinking that there is no way sharkman wrote that just for H2F. I googled a couple of lines and got nothing though. I thought sharkman really was insane.

"You can't haaandle the truth!"

How can a Laker's fan not know Nickleson's 2 best movie moments??

P.S. Anyone notice how I have so deftly diverted the attention away from the watch.

RJ, how glad I am to know I wasn't the only one who thought Sharkman had flipped!!! (Though now I feel like an ass :tard: )

My 2 fav Nicholson movies are Batman and As Good As It Gets. That's what I always think of my beloved wife -- she "makes me want to be a better man" (hey, I'm a romantic at heart! :lovesloves: )

Man, I love the new smilies...

What makes you so sure I hadn't? Heeeeeeeres Johnny!

It's a sad testament to my watch IQ when my 2 longest threads are about a pair of boxer shorts and a wildly colorful inexpensive watch. :idontgetit:
