G'Day Crew,

I have been doing some research on B-1's gathering information for a purchase. Various pictures I have seen show the watch serial number on the case back between the 50m and movement number A68XX.

Another watch does not show the serial number, is it possible that it is located elsewhere? It is an early 2000 model non SQ obviously.

Been sifting through the mountains of information on google with little luck.

Regards,

Rob

Not sure that it has been relocated at any point, the other possibility is that the watch was sold grey market and had the serial removed, or maybe that the photo (if that's what you are going from) was photoshopped to hide it.

Roff,

No photoshop. My initial thoughts were different location due earlier model etc. but it did cross my mind grey market.

Just trying to be diligent before purchase, gathering as much information as possible before buying, to reduce risk etc later on.

Thank you

Rob

Some pics of my B-1 from 2000 here showing the serial is exactly where you said it should be.

It does sound like we could be talking about a grey market one to me.
