Hi Guys, I looked at a Datora today and I think it is time for me to return to the Breitling owners ranks. The watch I looked at had the all bronze dial. I couldn't even tell what time it was without my glasses. I guess that is an age thing but that dial was "busy". I have also been looking at the Breitling web site and using that for research but I still have a couple questions. I understand all the functions that are listed, but it appears to have a two hand register at 9. The Tech data on the site doesn't seem to account for the "extra" hand. I couldn't see it on the bronze model, couldn't even see the date hand, at the AD or I would have asked there, but it looks like there is two hands @ the 9 register. Is it a GMT? I am planning to order the new black & White dial, the dial has a white back round for the date. The B&W dial gave me the classic Navi feel but it apears to be easier to read. I will order it on a black strap. I have always had a hard time reading the navitimers, why I sold my world, but the B-W dial seems to separate the dial so it is easier to read. Anyone seen this dial in the flesh? I so what did you think? I like the 43mm case size as well, the chrono Matic 49 is a bit big and the original Navi is a little small for me. I look forward to hearing your Navi experience.

PS: If you have any old (junk is ok) watches, wrist or pocket let me know, I strated to study watch repair and I could use a few victims

.
Thanks, Mark

The 9 subdial has the running seconds hand and a 24 hour hand. It's not a GMT.

Hi, I had the Horn for the Datora.

But when i saw it in the flesh, I struggled to read it easily (need glasses), it is a bit busy, but a lovely looking watch.

I know this wont help, but i ended up going for the LE 125 navitimer with bronze dial and Brown strap. The only critisism i have of it is the date. When there a double digt date ie today (22nd) it really fills out the box, so i struggle to see it without my glasses on.

I think that my Navi is 43mm, and i have no issues with reading the dials (silver on Bronze)
