Just brought my CA in for service (daily wear since 2006). While in the shop tried some watches...who knew that a TT rolex gmt master ii looked good.

I'm a little ashamed, but I think I'll need to try it again. Anybody have one of these?

in the meantime I'll keep on the titanium B's

Dont be ashamed, the GMT IIc is a nice watch. I have concidered that model (non TT for me) to scatch that Rolex itch. Either that one or the Green Milguass.

The TT really surprised me. Generally speaking I never like two tone watches, even the breitlings.

Oh, dont get me wrong, I like gold. But I like steel only on my "wear it anytime" watches (less bling). I am thinking about a solid gold piece for those dressy occations and have spent some conciderable time looking at pictures of Vacheron's. :)

I hear you. The GMT II (the IIc especially) is by far the Rolex I would be most likely to buy, although I'm not really a TT guy.
