I recently bought the new Aerospace Titanium and noticed that not all of the engraved markings on the bezel were aligned properly against the hour markers on the watch. When the 3, 9 and 6 o'clock are all aligned properly, the 12 o'clock is about half a division left, as are all of the gradations from 12 through to about 12 minutes past.

I took the watch back to the AB dealer who agreed and sent the watch off to have the bezel replaced; it came back 10 days later and it is still the same. When the dealer checked his 6 other new Aerospace models, they were all the same (as is the photograph of the Aerospace on this site!)

Has anyone else had the same problem? I admit I'm a perfectionist but at Breitling prices I expect perfection.

The aerospace on this site (http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... l_184.html ) looks like the bezel is just not perfectly aligned.

The angle obviously causes them to look off along with a few others (40 for example), but I can't actually see any misalignment. Don't have an Aerospace that I can check myself, maybe other members have?

I don't see the issue in this photo either.

I also have a 2010 Aerospace (volcano black). The tension ring underneath the bezel on mine may be ever so slightly off, so that the natural resting position of the bezel is slightly off. If I position the bezel with 12 o'clock perfectly lined up with any of the hour markers, though, everything aligns perfectly. I plan on asking BUSA about it when I send it in the first time, but that won't be for a couple of years hopefully.

Although I don't have a picture of it centered, the amount that it is off is about the same as the amount of play in the bezel, a fairly small amount. It's likely that the play is the reason it isn't perfectly centered when "at rest". Thankfully, my no longer young eyesight hides this rather nicely!

That makes sense Codeman. It sounds as though the OP is saying that some of the marks line up and some don't.

At first, I thought just my 50 and 55 were off, but I simply didn't have my eye directly overhead. If that's not the case for the OP then it seems like Breitling should be able to resolve it.

It's very funny because most of the stock photos on gray market websites seems to have the 12 o'clock rider tab slightly to the left.

The configurator does not seem to show a left hand bias however. Very strange. Could just be that I'm now noticing it, but the bezels on other Breitling models listed on these sites are rarely out of whack.

Is there something distinctly different about the Aerospace bezel?
