OK with the job situation making a massive improvement recently I have decided to add another ling to the stable, I have a friendly Greek AD who will do me a great deal on brand new watch and will do credit for me over a couple of months  So I have to choose which one to go for, I already have a Superocean,B1 & Top Time which will probably leave me soon in PX for a BNIB aerospace with UTC so thats my current collection I have narrowed it down to three choices and cant decide which one so please help me choose.

Which would you buy and why.

Choice one
Superocean Heritage 46mm on a Mesh or Ocean Racer

Choice Two
Superocean Steelfish on a leather deployment or Pro 2

Choice Three
Chronomat Evolution.

I have the SOS with Blue face and I am wearing it right now. I vote for the SOH on OR because it is alittle dressier and it is alittle bigger. The SOS is a wonderful watch. Both have same movement if I am not mistaken. I probably would not care for the mesh bracelet though.

I have all 3 of the SOH 46's Blue on OR rubber, Black on OR rubber and OC mesh, and Bronze on OC mesh waiting for OR rubber. I think you should get a SOH 46, because it looks great at any occasion with anything you wear.

One in each colour now theres a thought, At the moment i'm leaning towards the Evo if only for that that its a mechanical chrono and the 4 watches I have here are three non chrono and one digital chrono so its different to the othere 4 that way so thats why Im leaning in that direction, The SOSF is the cheapest by a long way then the SOH then the most expensive is the Evo, But I need to decide soon as I have to order, :lingsrock:

I think the SOH looks a bit like your Seamaster 300. I'd get the Evo if i had the choice and the money was not an object.

I voted SOH, but I'd add on the chrono version, white face! Can't go wrong with that one!

I really like the Steelfish, but if price is not a factor the Chronomat is the superior piece. As "B" is the creator of the chronograph (and many later innovations regarding it too), IMO every "B" fan should have at least one chrono in their collection. (Only one I have in my one piece collection.)

I think either Nicolas Rieussec or George Graham (depending on who you believe) have that distinction.

Gaston Breitling was the first to put a chronograph movement into a wristwatch (1915).

Didn´t know the original creator and learned something new here once again! :) Though I did mean that Breitling created the the original chrono wristwatch. For me that makes the chrono the most quintessential Breitling feature of all.

I'd go with the Evo. It's the most functional, has a lot of wrist presence (can be dressed up/down easily) and it'll be a great addition to your collection!

+1
And it's a chronograph, which for me out of those 3 choices, adds weight to my decision.

The evo is just a classic looking piece and adds some more variety to your collection.

I have both the steelfish and the evo, I wear the steelfish as my daily watch when I'm not at work, evo is my work watch as I am in a suit most of the time and the OR just doesn't quite fit the bill there.

If I had to pick one, I would probably go with the evo, as it is a bit more versatile, can be dressed up or down, although if you are planning to get the steelfish on leather with deployant, I suppose that argument may or may not hold much water as you could probably pull the steelfish on the leather off with a suit as well.

That being said, for what it’s worth, I would still go with the evo.

whichever one speaks to you most. The SOHC with a mesh and an OR brings 2 distinct looks. Or the Steelfish. Or the Evo. I have all 3(well not the Evo but the BB and it's the same case and bracelet - except the bracelet is nicer). Does that help? :nana:
