It's a topic I haven't seen here...
and actually i don't really see why not.
Art is close to watches in my opinion its craftsmanship and beauty mixed together.Don't you guys think?

I appreciate almost all art ,not a big fan post modernism or contemporary, but I really like Cobra and dadaism.

how about you guys? give us some unknown artists that you like...

i'll start:

Karl Heeremans: he dosn't have a site but this is a work from him.

Ironically I am almost exclusively into contemporary and modern art. The Museum of Contemporary Art and the new modern wing of the The Art Institute of Chicago are some of the best collections artistic expression I've seen.

The Dadaist Max Ernst is one of my all time favourite artists. I always found quite a bit of his work slightly nightmarish in it's visions, but also strangly compelling as well, which is what all great art should be IMO - compelling that is, not "slightly nightmarish"! :wink:
