Hello,

I accidentally had a bath with navitimer 403, brand new watch, the watch was in the wather during maybe 4-7 minutes. After few hours i saw some fog (little mist) on the glass. What should i do?
I mean there is no drop, it seems there isn't much humidity inside (i hope so).

Thanks for your help.

You should take it to your AD for attention immediately.

Water in the watch can cause serious and permanent damage in a remarkably short period of time - it needs attention straight away.

Less than the cost of a new watch. Hot water and watches don't mix - ever. The seals and gaskets aren't truly designed for hot baths.

If you are lucky they'll do it under warranty.

If not, it depends what the water has damaged - couple of hundred if you are really lucky, close to a thousand if you are really unlucky. Less today than it will cost a week from now, that's for sure.

You've got two sets of image tags. Remove one set and it will work.

Warranty work is quicker though as it gets priority. I think BUK is usually around 4 weeks for warranty.

Thats OK i was worried that my warranty wouldnt cover the problem even though i know i didnt touch the crown since i changed the date in February...........when i realised the misting up i checked the crown and it was secure.......but the AD has let me know BUK are covering the warranty...........lessons learned keep the crown checked at all times.........
