I assume no Geneve and it's Breitling in cursive so pre 1950 or so?

Looks fairly correct to me... even the crown after comparing some pics from past posts dug up from searching...

Not at home so going from memory, but I think it's OK. Serial dtaes to just prior to1944 and that's consistent. I have seen versions of hte 179 with and without telemetre scales, and if I recall there were a number of different hands on this model.

The only obvious concern that I would have is the condition of the movement - it may be the photo, but it looks all scracthed up.
