I've been searching for a pre-owned Breitling Legende, white/silver dial, for about a year now. I've noticed there are VERY VERY few of these for sale and virtually none on the Bay except for authenticwatches. Does anyone know why that is? Is there something about this line I'm not aware of? Is it not a big seller or is it such a great selling piece that no one wants to sell it? Just curious.

Thanks

Well they've only been around for a couple of years or so, so it's a little early for there to be a lot of them available resale. The Legende is also part of the Navitimer range so not the biggest seller because of that - the lack of water resistance puts some people off, and the fact that the bracelet is integrated will also affect appeal for some.

Personally I think that it's a great watch.

I own the exact watch that you speak of and I'd have to agree with the others in that it's still so new to the lineup. I bought this watch because I love the Navitimer series, the bracelets, dials, etc and this watch had it all plus the 47mm size to add. The integrated bracelet has never been an issue for me as far as comfort level goes or as far as wanting to change the bracelet to a strap. I was comfortable in knowing that couldn't be done unless it was aftermarket customized. I also appreciated the fact that not a lot of people would own this watch and still don't. I don't see a lot in stock when I'm in the AD's and I don't see a lot of them on many wrists so all in all I believe the Legende to be a great watch and a great buy.
