I totally agree. Then again, we Europeans have other advantages. When I ordered my B01, I received it the next day, all it took was a simple phone call by my AD, at my presence, to check for availability

Customers in the US or Canada may have to wait for more than two months.

The same is true when you give in your watch for overhaul (although they don't do it in 24h, of course): quick and reliable service, no shipping costs, not a great distance to cover to your AD.
However, I never thought buying a Breitling as an investment. I bought it because I liked the watch, because of the B01 movement and because of what the brand stands for

compared to, for example, a Rolex (mass produced and, most of all, boring), Panerai (not necessarily trendy), Hublot (over-priced for what you get) or Omega (good history but fairly common nevertheless). Then again, this is just my IMHO. I don't expect you to agree with me.
