Hi, this will be my first Breitling purchase and I was hoping you could give me a little pricing guidance. I have the option to buy a Colt GMT (not +), metal bracelet, silver dial, brand new, *not* from an AD but from a reputable grey market dealer who is providing a 2 year warranty (via his own shop, not breitling) for $2000 USD including shipping. Is this is a fair price in your expert opinion?

Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

MSRP was $2895. Note the model is now discontinued, this was MSRP when it was a current model.

I think it's about $100 less than Jomashop. Not sure if this helps answer your question.

Thanks, I've heard mixed things about Jomashop.

I suspect a good AD can get you one for that much or less. Some will still have it in stock if you look around.

I would agree that an AD could come close to that price if you can find one. I'd be willing to pay a bit more from and AD as you have the warranty from Breitling. Where does a grey market repair their watches and what parts do they use..ie. authentic Breitling or generic? Resale I think would be easier and better if you have proof of purchase from and AD plus these ease of mind you don't have to rely on a third party. Just my 2 cents?

Thanks, I think that makes sense, I spoke to one AD and he didn't have any in stock, only the GMT+ (which isn't that great in my opinion).
