Welcome to the "Wolfs lair". My has served me for almost a year now. It's a great piece of equipment.

To reach the higher levels of OCD, you got to work on the "bezel-alignment" ;-)

I really like the Ananta. The Spring Drive is a special movement and that's the main reason I got it. I also really like the katana blade motif of the Ananta line and I think it's as well made as anything in its price range. It is a big watch and all that polished surface invites scratches, but then again that's not anything Breitling owners aren't used to. It and my two Breitlings (the other Breitling being a SuperOcean) are the favorites of my collection.

I really want a Spring Drive GMT, but I think I like the pre-Ananta one better (SNR009). I have not seen either in the flesh, though. I would be really curious of your impressions of yours vs. the SNR009 (black dial; or SNR007 white dial).

P.S. Sorry! Don't mean to hijack the thread....

Haha, I thought the bezel was aligned. But perhaps I need to work on my OCD. :P

I have not seen the SNR009 in person, so I can't comment based on personal experience. Since the movement is exactly the same, I think it comes down to personal taste with regards to styling. I happen to like the katana (or samurai sword) motif of the Ananta line, so it works great for me. The SNR009 looks nice too, and I wouldn't mind owning that one either. The SNR009 isn't quite as large as the Ananta, so that could be a consideration as well depending on your feeling toward large watches. I would say the Ananta wears smaller than its specs though (46mm case width, 14mm thickness).

I ordered an Ocean Racer strap with the watch and it arrived a couple of days ago. I'm a fan of good rubber straps and I think the OR is great! My Airwolf will be on the OR for the summer. :lingsrock:

Hey I was thinking about getting an ocean racer strap for my Airwolf too, which one feels more comfortable the SS bracelet or the ocean racer strap?
