ok, so, im going away next week. for 4 days ill be at a swim meet, so in and out of a pool all day, and competition so i wont be wearing the watch. then a week chill time. so for the 4 days, im not sure if i should take it (and where to keep it safe). i guess hotel safe, or if i can get to the locker room early enough to get a locker to not worry about being able to lock up my valuables. there will also be alot of people around, so i dont want to chance leaving it in my bag while im in the pool, which should be under 10 minutes per swim.

for the chill time, the remainder of the week, it will be nice and quiet time, and i'd like to have it with me, but just not sure if i want to have to worry bout it the 1st 4 days.

thanks

Id take it and leave it in the hotel safe when you know youll have to take it off periodically. Bust it out on the days you can keep it on your wrist.

I frequently travel with multiple watches and take advantage of hotel safes all the time.

When I take mine I always have it on my wrist but as you say if you are doing a lot of swimming put it in a safe and that puts the responsibility on the hotel or the insurers if anything untoward happen.

Cheers
