At what time on the watch is the date rollover suppose to happen? I just noticed my watch officially rolled over from the 5th to the 6th around 12:03 AM. Is the date completely suppose to rollover exactly at midnight?

so it is normal for mine to roll over at around 12:03? It was stack inbetween the 5th and 6th for a few minutes then flipped over. I was worried for a bit.

Some watches have an instant date change mechanism (like the Blackbird); the majority do not. The date wheel is engaged up to a couple of hours before and after midnight. The actual flip of the date will normally occur a few minutes before or after the hour.

i have 2 BBs and while the date chage occurs over less time than ther watches, it isn't instantaneous at midnight. The date begins to move at about 11:45 and finsishes with a click at about midnignt.

The big date on my Cockpit however is intantaneous at midnight.
