The Breitling Watch Source Forums

Comparing watches to cars, I like this.

I'd compare my Seiko Monsters to a garden variety Toyota Camry/Corolla or something. Heck, I can't even stop the second hand when I pull the crown out, so the similarities run pretty deep.

Breitling? I'd say it's a closer fit to Audi than Alfa (with Bentley on the high end for obvious reasons).

-Classy/understated
-Does share some key parts with more humble concerns (VW), but is mostly its own design
-High quality materials, High level fit/finish
-Not renowned for reliability or resale value
-Undervalued/underappreciated compared to some peers despite offering more for the money

I think the reliability thing is overstated, I have had many Breitlings over the last 10 years and have never had any problems except for a very tight (sometims stuck) bezel on a B-1. I have found Breitlings to be extremely accurate and reliable. As for depreciation, if anyone is stupid enough to pay full retail for a watch then of course you will experience depreciation.

I absolutely love the composition and lighting in this shot. One of the best Breitling caseback shots I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing!
