Only had my BO1 for a shortwhile, its unbelievable the amount of people who stare at the BO1 on my wrst. In the last 3 days I reckon Ive seen at least 6 people staring at my wrist lol ... its definately a watch that draws the attention. its just a fantastic addition to the Breitling range.

I have been looking at the B01 more and more. The evo didn't do it for me, but the B01 somewhat does.

Decisions... decisions... :lingsrock:

Im deadset losing the plot with my bo1. Im spending to much time looking at it, shining it up with a soft cloth, looking at the watch all over to mke sure there are no scratches on it lol, this is getting out of hand pmsl. BO1 is agreat Breitling watch and whoever gets one will not be disappointed :lingsrock:

Aww, there is no such thing as looking at or polishing a new watch too much.

Hello - figured I do a search rather than start a whole new thread. I guess my questions are for the OP and any others who would help. Excuse my "ignorance" when it comes to Breitlings (ironic spell check says Breitling is spelled wrong).

Anyhow, I only have one watch, a Tag my ex bought me in college - figured it was time to upgrade so I placed an order for a Blackeye Gray B01 a while ago. Got a call from the jeweler today saying Breitling is not guaranteeing an arrival date but it could be any time (or longer). Well so far its been 10 weeks, and the original date was 6 weeks production time so this is the 2nd delay.

I guess my question is this, Im assuming these watches are handmade but what is the production time? Is there a backorder on them? There were 3 in the store, but Im set on the blackeye gray dial. OP, what did your vendor originally give you as a timetable?

I like the idea of the watch being produced for me and not tried on by anyone, but Ive had two cars built and shipped to me from Germany in less time than this! Is this a reasonable wait time and should I just be patient, or just start looking for another vendor?

The vendor I chose is reputable, is an authorized dealer, and gave me a price I really like.

Thanks for all your feedback

Patrick

My understanding of it is that depending on the watch configuration there can be delays. I got mine pretty quick because the AD had it in stock but another one I was thinking about the Black Carbon dial would have resulted in delays. The Riviera Blue which is what I chose was in stock so it got sent out fast, arrived in brand new condition, packaging perfectall the documents new and perfect - all the product was superb - but I understand that some people like to think that there watch has never been touched by someone else, a member of my family is like that.

When I ordered my B01 in March from George he told me it could take up to 4 weeks, I received the watch in 12 days. Mine was carbon black dials w/ss bracelet.

It depends on where a watch that meets your order is.

If there is one at the distributor then it takes days. If it's a common combo that is regularly produced then it usually takes 2 - 6 weeks depending on how frequently the distributor receives shipments. If it's a combo that isn't commonly produced then it's scheduled for production and can take anything up to 4 months or so.

Also remember that at the moment the 2010 models are moving into production and that throws some wrinkles into things with parts changes, etc.

thanks - guess Ill wait it out then

as for 2010 models, do I need to worry about any changes to the B01, considering its a brand new style?
