It's a good question. For the moment I don't have any planned purchases, more than I know it's not a Breitling. I don't know if it's the latest years lack of enthusiasm after new models have been released or if the Breitling side is stalling a little bit, but I have actually started to think I might have a few too many Breitlings in the watchbox compared to other brands. I would probably have tried letting one or two of them go if it wasn't for the fact that their boxes and papers are safely stored on the other side of the globe.

The three latest watches haven't been Breitlings and most likely I'll aim for a brand that's not yet represented in the box. I've had a couple of IWCs before but maybe it's time to go there again, or it could be an AP. I've done the Rolex route and found out several times I'm not a Rolex guy. I guess i have to feel this question for a while...

I really want one of the new Superocean. Very nice 'modern/sporty' design. Good move from Breitling, everyone i know want one. They will sell like hot cakes if they are priced accordingly.

Only issue is i want a black one... a red one... a yellow one... LOL

I am currently lusting after an IWC Big Ingenieur. Other possibilities are a Blancpain Leman Grande Date in gold, GO Senator (of some sort) in gold, or a Dornblueth Regulator in gold. I will probably go with the Dornblueth. All of this is purely wishful at this point because the house is going to be eating up some money this summer, and the wife is going back to school.

If we didn't get air conditioning, I could get the BI. For some reason, the wife won't go for this. I mean, so what if we're hot in the summer...I can wear the BI all year round. :)

Probably the next purchase, though, will be a Ingenieur midsize for her...IWC discontinued this model and I want to pick one up before it's too late.

We are doing our garden right now which is taking up lots of time and eating up lots of money. This has been going on for the last two months and will probably last another one to two months. I definitely deserve a treat after that stress which could be something from the Bentley or Navitimer line, a Zenith or a Glashuette Original. And my wife already thinks about extending and redoing the house ... .

For me it will be the Pam 312 without a doubt. That one will soon be mine. Then i'm looking at the Rolex DSSD, that is the only one that does it for me. I got some saving to do...lol

As some of you know from my previous posts, I have been earnestly looking for a white or silver faced moonphase watch in either tonneau or rectangular shape. Having gotten some advice from some of you, I set out to search for the right watch. I decided against the Longines and the Oris, both within my budget for this type of watch. Instead, I opted for a Maurice Lacroix tonneau shaped. Apparantly the black dial version can be had relatively easily on ebay, but the white dial not so easily. I had bid on several but always lost out. Finally, winning a used one with a 14 day return privelage from a seller with high positive feedback. I received the watch and it was indeed stunning. Exactly what I was looking for. So I set the watch to the correct time and then the moonphase . I overset the moonphase and so had to continue moving it to the next moon on the little moon dial, there being two moons on a circular dial. As it turned out, this was a blessing in disguise. The second moon revealed a large grain of dirt on the moon! I contacted the seller, and he agreed to refund my money plus the shipping. I had no problem with the seller and my money was immediately returned to my PayPal account. No harm done this time. Since then I have purchased another one and am waiting for it to arrive which should be next week. It too has a return privelage. I hope I don't need to return it, as I really love this watch.
Anyway, take a lesson from my experiences on ebay, which fortunately for me, have been pretty good over the years. Never , ever buy a watch that does not have a return privelage and always use PayPal, following their procedures for properly sending or buying a watch. Most importantly, buy from someone who has a lot of feedback and get a phone number so you can talk to them before sending money. I always do that .
Incidentally, that moonphase watch I returned is back on ebay. I hope they had it serviced.
I will post some pics when my new watch comes in.
