Japan only limited edition announced at Basel. 100 steel and 50 red gold

Cal 33 movement, Ref: A/R33350 and 38mm diameter.

In essence, it's a Navitimer Quatre (another Japan only LE) with a different coloured dial.

I like that.

Yet another Japanese LE that is nicer than pretty much anything else that they have come up with for the rest of the world. I honestly don't understand how they can come up with something like this but then make it such a restricted availability piece.

I Agree!

It is beautiful - yet lets be honest - it's nothing more than a cosmetically re-vamp of the Navitimer Airborne.

Tho still stunning!!! I wonder if they do these Japan only Limited Editions because then can get a much higher premium for their watches there as oppose to any where else in the world? Dunno - but just food for thought!

Or just cleaning house & getting rid of older stock - and/or a combination of both?

Best Regards,

Enezdez

very nice. Maybe the Breitling, in house, design department should hire someone from Japan!

Isn't that just a special dial on the Navitimer Airborne?

Pretty much, although the Airborne has been discontinued for a while.

Never understood why the Airborne wasn't more popular - too small I guess.

Yeah, I had one for a while and it was just tiny. These days ladies watches are almost that big. The little date dial looks cool, but it was hard to read.

For real, or was that said with a note of scarasm?

I think it's great looking. The best "new" model from Breitling in a while IMO - just too small for me.

I think it's one of the best looking watches in the Navitimer lineup, just too small for my taste.

I like it a lot and it's not too small in my books. Shame it's not released out here.

Really nice. Extremely attractive piece, IMHO.

Now I just have to get a job in Japan....

Out of curiosity , how much is the catalogue price asked for this one and what are the discounts the japanese Ling ADs give out in general ?
