This is an old Breitling Premier that was for sale for spares or repair,any ideas on the movement.

Tough to tell for sure because there are two that look very similar.

Could be a Venus 152 or a 178 - they're easy to tell the difference side by side as they are different sizes (152 is 13 ligne, 178 is 14), but virtually impossible to tell from photos like that.

Thanks for the input Roff,also shows that movements were not always marked up as Breitling back in the 40s.
