Interesting news. I was just looking at the TZ forums and decided to look in the Hublot section. Apparently Hublot has come out with an in-house movement for this year. From what I gather it is currently a prototype, but it has been produced (not just somewhere in a computer). From what I have read it is a completely in-house movement and they will start putting them in the King Power this year any hopefully step up to making 20,000 units per year in the future.

Here is an article about it, not too much info that I could find on it. Hopefully this comes into fruition. http://blog.perpetuelle.com/index.php/watch-news/hublots-unico-is-revealed-a-first-look-at-hublot-caliber-hub1240/

Roff I am aware that you stated that at the outset of this thread but I figured I would re-iterate that as it was announced at Basel and it seems as if not many people actually read your post the Hublot is coming out with in-house movements, along with the post saying Mr. Biver said Hublot would never come out with an in-house movement. I guess they have upped the predicted production from the 1000 you stated to 2000 in the King Power.

Or are AP lacking ideas?
