Thinking of buying this one.

It looks legit to me, but i am not good at old Breitling's.
It is pictured in Benny Richters book at page 119.

Is it any reason not to buy it?

Would like to see inside of caseback and movement, but what I see looks OK. Not the greatest dial photo but it looks original to me.

Looks alright. Little mildew around the dial which will be hard to get right without a redo. Should be from around 1946 if you can find out the serial number on the inside of the back cover. Venus 178 movement.

I would think somewhere between $60-$100 depending on who does it and whether you disassemble or someone else does. Craig (Chronodeco) did my last one a couple of years ago. He sends it to a Canadian company (I think) but the end results made all the difference in the world. You will be able to tell it's a redial but a good one will be worth it because it will save the watch.
