Hi not sure if i am posting in the appropriate forum but i am looking for any advice on shipping a watch to Spain from the UK. I am struggling to find a courier to take my parcel with insurance cover which needs to be £1500.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I've just used RM Airsure to send a watch to France for £13. I'm pretty sure watches are excluded from their compensation so you're wasting money paying for it. It arrived safe and sound in 3 days.

If you want to insure it, I believe this company will insure watches but I don't know what they would charge. http://www.transit2insure.com/

If you really want to be safe, get an Easyjet flight - it will be cheaper than a courier! :D

I have come across a company that insures your "precission instrument" for a very inexpensive price of $0.25 per every $100 of insured value. They do limit their insurance to a very small number of couriers however Royal Mail is one of them. The heads up was provided by a member on an alternative forum. I will check with Roff as to where this info should be posted but in the meantime if anyone needs the info the drop me a pm.
