Hi there,

I Picked up a Navitimer World yesterday to have a look at.

I can see the model number (A24322) on the back of the face (so to speak) but where is the serial number located? As im abit jubius as to its authenticity, and being able to find this would put my mind at ease.

The watch is heavy as it should be, none of the usual tell tale sales of a replica, but just want my doubts quashing.

Any help or advice would be great.

Cheers

Joe

It should also be on the caseback, and from memory it is close to the outside of the back, it's etched less deeply than the model number.

I have just posted a question on the same model (see breitling help forum). The watch i have is a really top class looking watch but i am now fairly sure it is a fake. The weight is right and almost everything else but for one sub dial and perhaps the shape of the arrow on one of the hands.Check out the picture i have addded and see if it resembles yours.

As Roff says, the s/n is at the bottom of the case.

Post pics of yours in the Replica section if you want it checked out.

Pictures of the watch in question.

My reservations are:

- no serial number on watch, however model number is present.
- authentication certificate has no serial number on and no guarantee card.

The watch weighs 187 grams with the bracelet, all the dials are correct and how they should be, it has the bakelite box.

Just please tell me its real, haha.

Sorry, that's a fake. Some of the reasons:
1) Braclet links don't have the proper beveling
2) Sunken date
3) Crosswind special manual is popular with fakes.
4) Red paint on GMT hand goes to far down
...

Definitely a fake.

Based on: sunken-in date wheel, no serial number, and the manual is for a different watch (Crosswind). Certificate is fake also. The box appears legit, though. I hope you didn't pay much.

It looks alot like the face on mine.My back has a correct serial number tho,but the arrow hand seems to be a giveaway as it is straight. The 'b' and the wings are not quite identical either to a real one.listen to me 0 to expert in 24 hours, only kidding!

sorry to say it, but the guy who sold it to you was too cheap to even bother using an authentic hang tag.
Best of luck sorting this out..

Yeah, just looking for advice on a watch that you don't own, but want to find out what people think about it. Yeah! right!

Sorry but I don't buy it

Dont buy it then.

I simply post pictures to see whether I should shell out for something, why else would I seem so concerned?

When youv saved up a long time for a watch, and someone offers you a breitling where you could possibly saving a fair wack, youd wanna check its authenticity with experts like people on here.

Looks like Il just have to settle for an Omega now.
