Does anyone have any insight on the color difference between the brown and gold crocodile straps? On the configuration on breitling.com they differences seem minimal. Any insight or pictures would be great.

Thanks :lingsrock:

Sorry I don't have any insight to offer, but I've compared the two myself on the Breitling website several times, and I've always leaned towards the gold. However, I've never been able to see them in person to compare yet...

Never used the gold (just noticed the terrific grain) as my BB+ goes on the tobacco.

Croco (as well as leather) straps always darken when you wear them. That is because they come from quality material that is still "alive" and thus keep evolving.

So keep in mind, that even if the gold strap is much more lighter at the beginning it will darken but not so much as to become brown. When the brown strap is worn for some time it becomes too dark (for my taste) though.

As Tomcat says. My pics show a Tobacco that has darkened and a New Gold that has not.

Good call.
