OK, maybe I was expecting a miracle, but im not impressed with Cape Cod polish. I had a couple of minor scratches on my Evo and it pretty much did nothing, even with a lil elbow grease. I rear in another post that Sunshine polish is better than Cape Cod? Not to knock Cape Cod, it did an ok job.

Well, if you found Cape Cods did nothing, you'll be even less impressed with Sunshine Cloths as they are even more gentle.

You need to work at the Cape Cods a bit - you might need a bit more than a little elbow-grease. They're gentle so don't take off too much metal, which IMO is much better than anything too abrasive. I admit that the Cods aren't some instant magic-bullet cure for all scratches : they require patience and a little time on anything more that swirlies, but I still swear by them. After a good 40 mins or so, they completely removed two really nasty scratches on the underside of the lugs of my older Navi World that were put there by an idiot AD. I'm surprised you didn't get on with them.

Agree with d8 they do take time and a lot of effort but Monroe scratches will be gone for sure.

I bought one of these and it cleaned up my Colt a treat, took lots of scratchs out of it but I did have to work it, the other half got a hold of it and cleaned her entire jewllery collection with it and wants me to buy another pack for myself so she can keep one in her jewellery box.

I have to agree with driver 8 on this. Even though it takes some work and about an hour or so of your time they really can do a great job. They took out some pretty serious scratches on my speed bracelet when it came back from the ad. Some people on here have used buffing wheels and Polish, but I don't have the guts. The best way for the cape cods to work is simple patience. I worked on mine while I watched a movie with my wife. It helped that it was a girlie movie.

Oh, I forgot to ask, how could I make a brushed stainless steel bracelet(Tag Heuer) a polished steel bracelet. Would Cape Cod do that?

Cape Cod will turn brushed steel into polished with enough work. I did it to my Tag and gave it to my wife as it is just too small for me now. SA's will do that to you.

I second that on the Navi World. All my watches feel unimpressive

The Super Avengers 48mm really earns the "awsome" title.......as it makes ordinary watches seem out of kinter after a while......the only other models to try with any sort of a possible sale are the Legende and World as even the mid sizes look odd.....something you dont think about when buying an SA..........my dress watch being oblong and a fair size still allows me to have a change of watch now and then

I suppose its possible, but I can pretty much guarantee that you arent going to get a finish anywhere near as nice as the factory Breitling polished look. Youd have to get the brushed surfaces polished professionally or do it with a polishing wheel.

Has anyone tried using a cap cod cloth and a dremel for faster results?

I've had very good results with a very small amount of Mother's Mag and Alumminum polish http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05100-05101_b.html on a wet cotton tee shirt and a light touch. It takes light scratches out of polished stainless steel. I follow with their Billet Metal Polish http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05106_b.html and it leaves a nice swirl free mirror finish. No silicone or wax. Any residual rinses out with cool water.
