You'll need to host the photo somewhere to show pictures directly - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=453

Otherwise you can attach pictures up to 250k to the post.

I can see the pictue now, but I think that we are going to need some better pictures to be able to tell much. Ideally a close up of the dial, inside and outside of caseback showing any numbers and the movement.

Any chance of that?

What I can see looks OK, but would like to be able to see more to be able to really comment.

Can you tell me what the numbers are below Automatic on the caseback?

Hmm.

Well I have to say that this one bothers me a bit. Don't recall a 2508 25 off the top of my head - 2509 25 is a valid reference for a time only watch with central seconds which is what we have here, so it may be a variation on that. If so it will be a Felsa powered automatic, and I assume that it is automatic from the caseback.

The serial number dates it to 1946 and the dial and bezel look a lot like a Chronomat of that period, but without the subdials.

I don't recall seeing anything like this and will have to hit the books. The obvious answer would be to suggest that it's not real, but all of the individual components do seem to be Breitling which is throwing me.

It is real, that is all I know. 10 years ago, Breitling office in Stockholm found information about it, I lost it, and they are again looking at it. Kronometer Stockholm was a watch dealer in Stockholm whi imported from known watchbrands.

Sorry - let me correct myself.

1952, not 1946 - I was looking at the wrong table.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree that it's real - as I said all the elements of it look like Breitling.

I'll see if I can find anything else with a similar look in my references when I get home.

Breitling did have that style of dial too... I have one myself but a different reference number... all the engravings look consistent... very unique piece... I like it~
