Is that a Batarang hidden on the side of the watch? :superman:

Personally I prefer the Diver Pro Geographic that guy has for sale...... although it is made of the dreaded titanium!

Yeah I've always liked the Diver Geographic. It looks pretty crazy with the depth gauge on the side, but I think it's a great piece of kit. As I say, I don't like the fact it's titanium (and if I'm being ultra-critical, I don't like the rubber crowns either), but in a way I should be pleased as it means I don't have to put it on my list of unattainable items!

The Memovox was in the 2009 JLC catalogue (a great one to have, for all you catalogue fans) and I just passed it by. It's just a bit too ordinary looking for me....... which is NOT something that coudl be level at the Diver!

To each his own, I guess.

The price of the Polaris is certainly right up there, I'll admit that, and if I had that much to spend then maybe it wouldn't be what I'd buy. I just admire the design.

The more I look at (= become obsessed with) watches, the more I am finding myself attracted to timeless designs. A design from the 60s that still looks fresh today is going to continue to do so, and I reckon this is a good example.

Just explaining myself

The Polaris is a GREAT watch and one that I have lusted over, but I got the JLC W-Alram instead as it is just a bit more current and interesting. That said I bet the polaris will hold its interest and value far longer than my W-Alaram.

My favorite JLC at the moment is the new Extreme Chronograph with the high tech Texalim dial, fantastic watch and probably my next. After that watch the reverso line is really calling my name.

Can you tell I like JLC

If you are thinking of one jump on it, the brand offers more value in the high end range than any other manufacturer I know of. It is by FAR my best made watch and my most horologically advanced, yet not my expensive.
