Hi all I was looking around and found this pic.
I have liked the SA BS but wish it had a BS bracelet not much for the strap in less its a hublot.
From looking around I have seen some custom rolex's done in pvd.... I was thinking of getting a bad for a SA and getting it done. Kind of at a starting point right now with this idea.
If I can get the bracelet done it will get me in to getting a SA BS.
Any way let me know what you all think and all.
Thanks
O and just looking at this its not a SA lol I look too fast and just posted it...Any way u all get what I want.

The big problem you have with getting an SA bracelet DLC'd is that to do it absolutely properly, they will will need to totally dismantle it, including the welded links near the end-links.

Secondly, as can be seen in the picture you posted, getting an exact colour match is pretty difficult.

And lastly it's worth noting that while it is very tough DLC will wear DLC over time, so you can expect the parts that are in contact with each other to run off the coating. Yes this will take a long time, but it will happen. Oh and obviously the bracelet/clasp are probably more likely to pick up scratches through normal wear so the odds of getting a nasty (and unrepairable) scratch or ding is pretty high.

All things to consider, but I agree the finished item will look pretty cool (when it's new at least!).

I'd like to see the 6 months later photo.

Somewhat less cool I suspect!

Great concept, but thats about it. The color not matching kills it for me. Put an ocean racer on it. Looks like a GUESS watch with that on there.

I'd get one of these before doing that to a bracelet, although it seemed it was quite the premium price wise.

I asked Jack at IWW about wear on DLC bracelets and he claims that he hasn't had any complaints. I'm thinking of sending a Skyland to him to get the DLC treatment.

Man, if the pro 2 was DLC'd it would do it for me. I really like the look of that.

Has anyone seen Burn Notice? The guy on the show has some sort of blacksteel bracelet. I want to say Tag by the design if the bracelet but I can't tell.

I recently purchased from Breitling in the UK the new Blacksteel Ocean Racer Clasp on Rubber for my skyland Blacksteel. Really suits the watch, not only looks stunning but improves the whole wearibility of the watch IMHO. Would suit the BS SA very niceley.
