I just received my B2 from the local AD, who sent it to Connecticut for a full service. When I first discussed this with the AD, I was given an estimate of $700 and was told that it is more expensive for chronagraphs.

When I got the call today to come pick up the watch, I was told that B-USA decided to provide the service at no cost. All I would have to do is cover the shipping costs. The AD did not provide a reason for this and just mentioned that he thought this was very unusual.

Just thought I would mention this on here and give B-USA some kudos. By the way, the watch works fine and looks great!

I bought my B2 from an unauthorized dealer in '08. It looks like the bracelet was made in 2000, so I'm assuming that the watch was manufactured in 2000 or 2001. I have the version that has a black face with white baton markers.

Thats one of the reasons we love Breitling so much, When people say the brand is overpriced and not good value for money its reading posts like this that just shows you differently.

Full respect to posting it up here as well for others to read. :lingsrock:
