OK Roff, I'm fed up with you not having an avatar! You're dragging the look of the place down, and it's only fitting that the highest poster should have a damn avatar to his name!

So out of the goodness of my heart, I've made you one!

Now I've toiled away at this for quite LITERALLY seconds, so you need to use it. I've also given a cursory nod to Boney on this who (for some entirely inexplicable reason) decided to nickname you Roff the Prof. So here we are -

Not content with doing this to me, Driver8 even sends me a PM pointing me at it.

I know I don't have an avatar, or a sig, and I don't post pictures quickly enough and I'm a bit weird about not sharing my collection. What I do have is an appreciation for this site and the people that make it what it is. If it weren't for the members I wouldn't be here posting!

I'm a bit embarrassed about the Roff the Prof thing - I just have an interest that's all. Let me think about the whole professor bit - I'll get an avatar sorted out, even if it's only my company logo.

In the mean time that one d8 created will be a nice placeholder don't u think

I reckon a combination of one of those great pics that Mofongo found, plus your Roffensian font name would do the trick, Roff!

@Andrew, they're pretty easy and very quick to knock up if you have Photoshop (or a similar package). The real problem I found doing my original one was getting it small enough without it starting to pixelate on screen. If you want to do one, just save down the one I did for Roff (the one that he's cruelly discarded! ) and provided you keep the resolution and size the same you can use it as a blank canvas to make one up.

That's what I did with Roff's - just used my existing one for the size and resolution and knocked up a new design in about a minute.
