Interesting factoid...went to get my Navitimer today and the dealer told me that 78% of men buy a second Breitling within 3yrs of buying their first! :D

I purchased my first Ling, a CA in October...two months later I
picked up my Super Avenger. Once you get your first, you just want
to get another. Alot of folks here are the same.
Congrats on your Ling!

Jim

Chance...you hit that right on the head. I thought I was satisfied with
my first, but after being on the forum for awhile, led me to my SA!
Now, like I posted before, I am on Ling probation. :( :)

Hell Yes,

I want more Lings, I'm just waiting for them to come out with something new to get. The Bentley Motors and the SA do the job for me for variety but I would like a 2 tone like an Evo if there was one a little bigger and eventually I want and all Gold Bentley. My guess is that at any time they could come out with something that all Full Ling Club members will just have to have.

It's impossible to survive with only 1 Ling, of this, I am certain.

Hey guys and gals, new to the forum here, but just wanted to say that this was also true in my case. I had purchased a Super Ocean, then went back about 3 months later and got a black faced Navitimer on a black leather strap. Its a comfortable watch up here during New England falls and winters, but I much prefer a bracelet. My next purchase is most likely going to be an Avenger Skyland on a bracelet. I was drooling over it on their website, and after seeing some of the pics you guys have posted I am completely sold on it, just trying to figure out what color to get.

I suppose I'm a bit different in that respect. My first Breitling was Colt, in the early 90's. In 1997, I traded it up to a SuperOcean, which I have had since then. I just had a complete service done on it, and it looks like new. The PRO I strap did finally give out, unable to be repaired, but that is after 10 years. I wore that watch every single day! A couple of weeks ago, I got a new Steelfish, black dial, with PRO II brushed bracelet. What a looker! Now, I am contemplating a new Skyland Avenger Blacksteel, but I may have to hurry before it's sold. I guess I am now falling into the pattern. If it was not for budget constraints, I guess I would likely have one or two more.
Cheers,
Carl

My next Breitling will be the Super Avenger. I purchased my Navi-World in late September 2007. As soon as my wife lifts the sanctions, I'm going to be shopping hard and heavy.

I wonder if Breitling ownership follows the 80/20 rule... i.e. 20% of Breitling owners hold 80% of the watches. I doubt it is this extreme, but its an interesting thought.

I am thinking the Silver dial Navi is gonna be my next score...

I have no chance of lasting three years before I get a second one.

Darnit. I'm just another statistic.
