Anyone: I have a Superocean Professional. The bezel has 60 clicks per revolution. Does anyone know if, when I send it for its next service, the bezel can be fixed or modified to have 120 clicks per revolution? And is this something Breitling would even consider doing? I'm not a watch tech person, so I really don't know what would be involved or how involved it could be.
Thanks,

Jack H.

I'm pretty sure Breitling won't do it. At the minimum it would require replacing the circular ratchet rack, possibly also the bezel as the internal teeth may not fit a 120 piece rack. Those pieces aren't readily available and it would take away from the model (in Breitling's mind).

Thanks. I had contacted Breitling before your reply and they said the same thing. They just didn't explain it as well as you. Thanks again.

I believe the bezel design was changed from 60 to 120 a few years ago.

I guess the only way to upgrade a 60 click bezel is to buy a newer one either from Breitling (if they'll sell it to you) or from eBay if you get lucky. The only thing to be careful of is that the size of the bezel hasn't changed as the models have evolved over the years. Nothing else would need to be changed on the watch and a bezel change is an easy enough fitment on the Aeromarine models.
