Hi all,

As I promised here're the pictures of my new Breitling Bentley GT. The watch is fantastic and I'm extremely happy with it.

At the moment is running a bit fast (+7 sg per day). I'm going to monitor it for few weeks and see if it settles down a bit after a while.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Congratulations Phill_78 on the GT. I know you had some concerns about this watch when you posted your questions in a previous thread concerning the bezel and i'm guessing that worked out ok, but to me, and I hope i'm mistaken, it looks like the 9:00 subdial is missing the hand. Maybe it just didn't photograph well or perhaps time lapse photography? Maybe my old eyes are deceiving me, but it is there isn't it? :)

Jesus, I can't see it either surely we're both blind!

Even if we can't see it and it's not there the AD will have to foot the bill to fix it so you've still got a great deal there!

Congratulations on a great looking watch at a great price!

Cheers

I can't see the chrono seconds hand either so i'm guessing an extremely slow camera shutter speed.

hi guys,

when I read your post I immediately checked my watch, just in case, haha. Yes, all the hands are there. What happened was, as it's been already mentioned, that the lapse was really long as I wanted to take the pictures in low light conditions, hence why some hands have "disappeared" from the picture. Good catch though :P

About the bezel; its true that I was a bit concerned when I first used it. If you look at my collection, none of my other watches have the gear system that the GT has. It feels different from the friction fitted bezel on the Navitimer World, and the ring catch on the Cockpit or the GMT, but its definitely fine and consistent in the way it works, It turns smoothly and with no feeling at all of using a cheaply engineered bezel.

About my Navitimer World, Andrew, to be honest, I thought about selling it a few times. One time I even wrote a post in this forum, in the sales section. Don't get me wrong, I love the Navitimer, it's a great piece and if feels great. The only reason for me is its size, which it's a touch too big for my not so manly wrists. Now having the GT, which I think is the perfect size for a big watch on my wrist, I may reconsider things again. Just give me a month or so to settle with the GT, and then we can talk about it again if you want :)
