Awesome! I was wondering if id ever see one pop up for sale!

To any of the experts...what do you think its worth? I know there arent many of these, but what about similar LE chronomats of the same vintage?

EDIT: Another question: The seller indicates that the watch is brand new and never worn. The reference number has a ".1" at the end of it. Wouldnt that indicate that the watch has been serviced by breitling?

EDIT2: Hmmm...now from what I find, .1 might just be an LE specific serial number?

Actually, there are quite a few of these that come up - there were several team version produced as well as an NBA one.

There were some on Chrono24 last year, and there are always a few LE Chronomats on there as rough comparison.

Bottom line is that the pricing is really not impacted by these logos - maybe $100 - $200 more than usual, but the appeal of the logo is offset by the reduction in the number of people who would want one. In some cases prices can actually be lower than a non logo version.

There's nothing wrong with the model number.

Thanks. Maybe once I determine a value I can do a local cash deal with him.

Take a look at regular Chronomat sales on eBay and Chrono24 and you'll get a good idea - just remember that Chrono24 are asking prices (and generally dealers), not sale prices. There are a couple of LEs on there, but one of them is 'optimistically' priced.

The problem I find with these is that sellers sometimes have a rather interesting view of value - the guy that had a Lancaster Chronomat when I was looking wanted in excess of $7,000 for it.
