Hello everyone, this is my first visit to the site and I would appreciate any information regarding the Breitling watch in the attached photos. A local watch repair store opened the back and told me it was authentic but I am unable to find any similar watches on the internet. Thank you for any assistance.

Welcome to BreitlingSource!

The watch is indeed real, it's an unusual model from the early 90s called the Reserve de Marche - French for power reserve because the dial at 12 o'clock indicates the approximate running time remaining based on how close to fully wound the mainspring is.

A few more details here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... er_85.html

Thank you very much for the fast response. Any idea how I can get a value on this watch? It's part of an estate settlement

Value is tough - don't see many gold ones. Factor on a replacement cost of around $3,500 - $4,000, slightly higher for insurance purposes. That may be a little low, but demand on these isn't that great.
