watches are like women someone will love everyone, Whilst I personaly think most of the watches on here are ugly some of you may think my wife is ugly however I dont, I dont fancy Pamela Anderson and many others do are any of us wrong NO we just like diffrent things, There is a watch for everyone here some like some odnt but at the end of the day it dosent really matter cause we ill only buy watches we like anyway,This was meant to be a fun thread and not a serious subject so everryone should feel free to voice opinions and not feel intimidated if others dont agree. :lingsrock:

I agree and let's not start a thread "who's wife is the ugliest" because that would really get things heated :D There is a "get your face out" thread in the off-topic section and most of us are pictured with our wives / girlfriends so it is possible but not advisable I think (not that I have anything to fear in that department  )

I think comments about oh I dont like your watch will be taken a bit better than man your wife is ugly which wouldnt so I think thats a subject best avoided altogether and beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway so aho cares what others think of your partner.

I also tend to find the DeWitt 1 unattractive as a watch. A marvelous piece of engineering, but not a good looking watch. The Abiocor artificial heart is a masterful piece of engineering, but I would not wear it on my wrist.

I bet if you put a watch face on that and write Rolex I could find someone to buy and wear it in Manhattan. :P

ohhhh that last one!

But as a mechanical man this is just so wrong.

The band and case are made from high grade polished stainless steel, (what a waste of good steel) with hours on one side, 10s of minutes and then individual leds for minutes in between. So its showing 7.30 something at present. Its a Storm Mk 2, I only hope the Mk 3 is better!

As with anything I guess it's in the eye of the beholder!

While I've never been a fan of the Diver Bomber that you posted here, I've always personally had a bit of a soft spot for the Corum Bubble. There's been a couple of times over the years that I considered getting a Corum Bubble Privateer ; but I always decided against it.... purely because I think they're quite difficult watches to find the occasion to wear, but do still like them. Sure, they're certainly not a first watch, and it'd be a brave man to own one as their ONLY watch  , but for something a bit different I don't have a problem with them.

(But yes, to return to your example picture - the Dive Bomber IS one of the worst designs they ever made).

I have to confess I have semi-seriously been considering a Baron Samedi Bubble
