Hope everyone had a good holiday season! Mine turned out to be pretty expensive as my wife twisted my arm and forced me to buy myself a new PAM112 (more on that in a future thread). Acouple questions:

Does Panerai do the whole "free gift with registration thing" like Breitling, and if so what can I expect to receive?

Does Panerai do a complete refurb of their watches at the X year mark like Breitling? I couldn't find anything to that effect, so it leads me to believe that they may not do the complete overhaul.

As always, thanks for the help and happy 2010!

Your wife needs to have a talk with mine! You are one lucky guy!

When I bought my 104 my AD sent me two straps because of a small oversight on their part. The Riva and a JV. Panerai later sent me the blue key chain.

Don't be fooled by her generous exterior. She just wanted me to buy it so she could justify buying herself a Lady's Cockpit!!!

I wish I had been as lucky with my AD. I asked if they had any Breitling Pens floating around that he could part with, but he "forgot" to follow up as he processed my purchase. A keychain wouldn't be bad I suppose.

panerai will do a complete overhaul if your watch needs it. i sent mine in to be polished, but the watch was running irregularly when the PR was winding down its interval (8-day movement), they advised me to do the complete service ($550).

Sorry these are crap photos taken from my Iphone. I'm always embarassed by the quality (or lack therof) of my photos when posting on this forum.

May you by chance be the younger guy that comes in with his wife to Fink's from time to time? I believe you got the M1 from Dan?

I am the only other guy who works there and have talked to you a few times (if you are the same person :) )

I didn't know he promised you a pen. Let me see what I can come up with....

Feel free to PM me with any questions...

That's why I love this forum!!! That's me, in fact you are the only one we really speak to when we come in. I never really gave any thought to the idea that the folks from my local AD would hang out here. I guess now we'll have something to talk about next time we come in! (Shameless plug: My AD in Virginia is Finks in Norfolk. I do recommend them if you are in teh area.)
