Hi All!

Have a question regarding Reference Number A38022 - according to the picture illustrating the watch on this website the dial has batons and no moonphases but has a 52 week sub-dial. Does it come with Arabic numbers? And Moonphases as well? The reason for the question is because I have not seen the watch first hand it is being shipped for my consideration from an out of state store and I was told it had Arabic numbers and blue dial.

I was thinking of trading the Snow Birds due to owning the 50th Anniversity and as a result wanted something different. Would you trade the Navitimer Snowbirds on SS bracelet for the aforementioned watch plus an additional $800.00 - the Navitimger 1461 is on a leather strap. Is that a good deal?

Best Regards,

Enezdez

Blue dial was available with arabics and batons.

The Montbrillant 1461 Jours and Navitimer 1461 had a moonphase because they used the Breitling 19 movement; the Navitimer 1461-52 (the reference you provided) had the Breitling 38 and that doesn't have the moonphase.

I would, but I'd try to negotiate it down.

Hi All!

Ok I just got the Navitimer 1461/52 and I simply love it - ended trading the Snowbird with bracelet for it and an additional $770.00 USD - that was including tax. However, while the strap is a genuine alligator it's not a Breitling - but has a real Breitling tang buckle. I am happy at the present time and will replace it with an authentic strap with deployant (the cherry or mahogany - the one used in the current catalog with Olympus on page 430) or a after market funky blue strap with deployant.

Have two questions - lol.

1. Did I pay to much?

2. What do you think about getting an aftermarket funky blue strap & a Breitling deployant clasp or just get the more conservative Breitling with deployant clasp?

Best Regards,

Enezdez

One more thing guys - the watch had that transparent sticker with red letters on the back of the case like the brand new watches have does that mean it is brand new and was never worn? Or does the sticker matter? I know that regardless it had to have been serviced because it came from an AD.

Best Regards,

Enezdez

It's probably the service sticker.

If it was NOS then you should have got a 2 year warranty with it.
