I have the Breitling Top Time chronometer (round steel body, black face, white second hand, 2002 mark on the back).

I have had this original watch since 1971 (a present) and it's in perfect condition, so I'm trying to track down the "correct" watch strap that would have been supplied with the watch (sorry, poor memory!!!).

Any comments would be helpful as I'm after a new strap but it seems difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff.

I think it was just a normal 18mm Black Leather as thats what most seam to be on,I would just get a nice black leather and dont worry about it mate.

No there wasnt a special strap for this any Leather strap still around would probaly be useless now anyway as they dont last that long but a nice newish or even slightly aged one would look good I jsut maaged to get a loveley old balck leather which will go on mine its in aged condition which is perfect for the watch.
