Was wondering about the lume on the SA? Are certain dials brighter than others? Does it last long? ect. Thanks.

No, Breitling apply more lume to some watches than others (and many brands apply more than Breitling), but SuperLuminova as a material is consistent lume for every application - only the amount used will increased lume quality.

Maybe someone with an SA can post a lume shot for you.

The super avenger seems very dim compared to other breitling models. So far I think it glows less and for a shorter period of time than any other watch I have seen. That is just my experience so far. Have you tried exposing it to a bright light for a minute. After that it shines brighter.

I actually don't have one, but the one that i saw didn't seem to be to bright. It was a very new watch also. I believe it had a white Arabic dial, but i'm not positive.

Generally speaking Breitling watches don't have particularly large areas of lume when compared to certain other brands. Omega (who seem to apply quite a lot), Panerai (especially with their sandwich dials) and Seiko (who use something called Lumibrite which kicks Superluminova's backside!) tend to lead the way.

Is it possible that the lume on the white dials are dimmer than other color dials?

Unlikely. There's no reason for Breitling (or any other manufacturer) to apply less lume to white dials.

SA has very little lume applied compared to the BB.

Just the dots and the hands rather than 'batons'.
