I have been looking at the Montbrillant Datora for a while now, and on the weekend actually went to my local dealer to finalize a purchase for a steel-strap, white-face version. However, upon closer inspection of the model in the store I noted that the face was not a bright white, but rather an off-white, cream-type colour, which to be honest I was not crazy about. When we looked at the ordering catalogue this was the only colour face available. However on the website, or in any catalogue I have the face appears bright white - can someone tell me if there are in fact different faces (i.e. both white and off-white) or if one or the other is perhaps an older version? Thanks in advance.

Breitling calls the dial silver, but in fact it's more of an off white. I originally wanted the Datora, but went with the larger Navi-World. It's not a true white, but I still love it.

The Datora is also available in a black dial.

Thanks for the reply - I was actually also looking at the Navitimer World, but on the basis that it too was a bright white colour. I guess I'll have to check it out in person since like the Datora, any pictures appear bright white.

It's better in person, in my opinion.

No flash used...
