Thinking about getting my 5 weeks old Navi regulated. It's running very close to the +6 seconds a day. Sometimes a bit faster, sometimes a bit slower.

Will the watchmaker leave a lot of toolmarks from opening the watch? If yes, I will rather live with it being a bit fast until next service.

They shouldn't leave any toolmarks if they have the proper tools.

That said, I wouldn't regulate a 5 week old watch, I would give it another few weeks to settle. Also, if it overnights laying flat on it's back try laying it on its side (crown up), that might help.

Yep, what Roff said. I've had my B01 running continuously for 2.5 months and it's only now beginning to settle down. It initially kept +2 sec/day, but then moved to nearly +6 sec/day. All this time, I was laying it down at night in different positions. I finally started to routinely lay it on it's side, crown up, and it's literally gained 2 seconds in the past week! I'm actually really astonished. I just hope it stays this way . . .
