They should, that is one heavy steel lump!

Nah, they fall short both on the diameter and the lug width...

I would argue that the extra-thickness as well as the huge Emergency antenna cover/crown gives the EM a presence of "Massive Blingness" that should easily qualify... ;)

Hmm... I do appreciate the generosity of your proposal, FEAR.

HOWEVER if you would indulge me as I attempt to once more fight my case -- that by all accounts that trully matters! -- i.e., in the eyes when one looks at that massive beauty... in the heart when one feels the raw weight of all that steel... in the mind when one considers the power to actually literally SAVE LIVES!!... and last but certainly not least, on the wrist with its purely undeniable BLING (as in BLING-BLING BABY!!) factor -- the EM truly & deservedly belongs to the FULL LING CLUB!

To then penalized the mighty EM on such... technicalities seemed so... trivial & petty... THOUGH I do understand that rules are not (generally) meant to be broken.

AND SO, may I suggest a counter-proposal, to grant the EM the simple yet elegant "~" prefix -- which as you all know represents "close approximation" in mathematics & finance. The EM would then uniquely belongs to the "~ FULL LING CLUB Member (note again, the tilde) category!

OF COURSE, I do realize that such a wild request (and from a minority B owners group to boot!) that goes against tradition & custom would normally have little chance of success... BUT I do hope that the powers-that-be remember... 'TIS THE SEASON for Gifts & Giving after all!! Ho! Ho! Ho! ;)

dont suppose anyone could link me to a 1/2 ling image could they, tried serching the forums with no success. Seen many "Full ling" "3/4 ling" and "EM ling" seems like 1/2lings are a rare breed.....unless you live in the shire i guess :)

I suspect all of us qualify for the "Ding" a Ling club. To qualify, you only need to "want" more than one Breitling. :D

Sorry, if you want to change the criteria you have to find and convince Lingman. And that won't be easy.

With all due respect to Rof and the others, to be a full ling club member one also has to have totally ripped abs, huge guns, and super intelect.

Did you mean "intellect"? :poke:
