Hi all,

My first post. I have a Old Nav #B13019/81611. I need some feedback please. If I wanted to sell it should I have a total service including polishing or sell it Like it is represented in the pics?...[I hope they turn out]. I am torn between a service or selling. If I were to sell it in the condition it is in what would be a fair price? I have not worn it in a few years. I bought it around 2000 from an AD and have not had a complete service except a pusher replaced. It still runs great...everything functions properly. The worst is the scratches on the buckle. Lastly, I have misgivings about selling it at all.

Any sugestions from you would be greatly appreciated.

Bernie

As a general rule the service will make the watch more attractive to buyers, but you won't get full value back on the cost of the service. Reckon $500 for a service and it will likely add about $300 to the value.

Will BUSA be able to polish all the scratches out of it? And, where can I send it to get the overhaul for $500? I m seeing pricing of $650. I am leaning towards keeping it. What is it worth as is?

Thanks.

It will need to go to BUSA for the service - I just took $500 as an approximate price. If their prices have gone up to $650 now then that's what it will be - they will provide a quote before doing the work. A full service will include a polish.

In terms of value, the best thing to do is to look at the completed auctions on eBay and look at prices of pieces that actually sold.
