Then lo and BEHOLD!!!! Breitling sent me one!!!! It was a Christmas gift from them!!!!

I am soooooo happy!!!

I know this may be a bit off-topic(sorry) but does your AD register your details with Breitling everytime you purchase a watch from them or is this something you do yourself! There may be a thread on this somewhere but I can't be arsed to look for it! :D

Cheers

Hi Andrew,

Breitling UK doesn't do a registration scheme of any kind for new purchases, however, if you ever send anything in for warranty or overhaul to BUK's excellent service department, they register the watch in their system to you.

That's because the company didn't exist until then.

All Breitling documentation pre bankruptcy is extremely sketchy, not just registration details of individual watches.

So Eric,
couple questions: Where do you live? Is this your first Breitling? Have you sent it in for service?
I'm still trying to figure out the criteria for Breitling sending out gifts to their customers.
Thanks, and enjoy the book!

I live in Florida. Yes this is my first Breitling. My fiance bought me the LE Montbrilliant Olympus Rose Gold model (#142) model.
I haven't had it serviced since I've only had it for a month.

I'm not sure what the criteria is for Breitling to send gifts to people who register their watches, but I'll keep the board posted with anything else they send.

I thought I had read in other posts where some people had received ties, hats, jackets and invites to Breitling events? At the time I was wondering where did I need to register for those but now I assume it is when you send in your paperwork for the watch since that is the only registering that I've done so far.

Even though this watch is my first, it won't be my last. I've been a longtime fan of Breitling. I own 6 other watches, which I love, but always put off buying a Breitling, setting it as a goal to reach (when my company reaches a certain milestone, when I have other bills paid off, etc, etc), so I still have that goal to reach. That'll be my second one!!

Paperwork? What paperwork? I looked through mine and didn't see anything I was suppsoed to send in.
Maybe the AD sent it in for me? I live in MA and purchased it through an AD in PA and mad it FedEx'd to me...

US ADs generally do fill in the BUSA registration I believe.
